Attention All Publicans!

Are you ready to generate a steady stream of thirsty and hungry new customers?

Let's face it. There is immense competition out there and if you want to pull ahead of your rivals, you need to stand out from the crowd. You want people talking about what your pub has to offer - its atmosphere, its cuisine, its hospitality. And the more reasons you can give people to visit your pub, the better.

Well what better way to attract new customers than to have a pub walk that brings people back again and again, that they pass on to their friends, and of course that results in them working up a good thirst and even a good appetite!

So why not put you pub on the map and run a local competition to find the best pub walk starting and finishing at your pub? We can help by showing you how to do this which could give a real boost to your business and, what's more, it's free. You get your own profile page on the site to tell everyone about your own competition and you can also use your page to promote your pub's hospitality, menu, ales and any special offers you may run.

How to Turn a Pub Walk into PROFIT !
10 STEPS TO SUCCESS
To take a look at our 10 Steps to Success and see how you can reach out to the 8 million regular walkers in this country, click here.

Competition entrants (i.e. your customers) load their suggested pub walks onto this site and then others can try out the walks for free during your competition and then "vote" for the best ones using our 5 star rating system. What's more, in addition to any prizes you want to offer (free meal for 2, £30 meal voucher, bottle of champagne, or whatever you like), we will offer everyone who enters a pub walk one year's free membership of MyFavouritePubWalks.com, giving unlimited downloads of all our pub walks for 1 year!

So if you want to run your own competition for these customers, just follow these steps:

  • STEP 1 - Click on Register as a New User if you have not already registered with us.
  • STEP 2 - Click on Profile Page and complete the template with details about your pub and prize(s).
  • STEP 2 - Email your completed profile page and image to leigh(at)myfavouritepubwalks.com when you have added your details.
  • STEP 3 - Print a poster, add your pub name and your prizes and display it in your pub.
  • STEP 4 - Print some flyers and leave them out for customers to take away.
  • STEP 5 - Promote your competition by telling your customers about it, encouraging them to contribute a pub walk or simply vote.
  • STEP 6 - Visit www.MyFavouritePubWalks.com to check how many walks have been submitted and read the voters comments.
  • STEP 7 - Finally, decide who wins your local prizes.
  • STEP 8 - Celebrate the event with your customers!

STEP 8 is a great opportunity for marketing your pub and building customer loyalty. You could even finish off the competition with a special event such as:

  • A prize-giving day where print-outs of all your pub walks are passed around for people to see and even take away for another day
  • An organised group following the route of the winning pub walk and ending at your pub for refreshment

Whatever you choose, why not go ahead and take the first step to register your pub today. Good luck!
