The Silent Woman is a remote inn, surrounded by forest, and was originally a farmhouse part of which dates back to the 18th century. It was originally named The Angel and is referred to in Thomas Hardy's book The Return of the Native.

A delightful, gently undulating walk around tracks of the Wareham Forest. Good under foot and lots of excellent views with great colour changes through the seasons
